We’re delighted to welcome Dana Nechushtan back to Shortcutz Amsterdam on October 6, together with members of the team behind Netflix’s new Dutch series The Perfect Lie.
Dana is one of the Netherlands’ most established directors, with acclaimed work including Hollands Hoop, Overspel, Dunya & Desie and Elixer. Both Hollands Hoop and Overspel received the Golden Calf for Best Television Drama.
Her latest project, The Perfect Lie, is a seven-part Netflix series based on Saskia Noort’s bestselling novel De Eetclub. And it has already become an international hit: within days of its release, the series reached #1 on Netflix in the Netherlands and several other countries, and climbed to #3 worldwide.
Dana and members of the team will join us to take us behind the scenes of the series, from reinventing such a well-known Dutch story to creating a drama that is now reaching audiences around the world.
