Peter and Ruud, both 24, have been inseparable for as long as they can remember. But their friendship is put to the test when Peter makes a life-altering decision. Like brothers, they spend the last days of summer on Schiermonnikoog — the island where they first met and grew up together. Over the course of their final 24 hours, they drift between familiar places, clinging to a routine of cigarettes, cheap beer, and shared jokes. Yet beneath the surface, the weight of an impending goodbye becomes impossible to ignore.
