VILSHULT: AN AMSTERDAM PICTURE FROM IKEA

After hanging an IKEA picture of Amsterdam on the wall of his living room, filmmaker Tom Roes starts spotting the picture everywhere, across the world. At the same time most of his friends disapprove of the picture, that was sold almost half a million times. They say it's mediocre and a sign of bad taste. Tom decides to find out who made the photo and how it ended up on the shelves of one of the biggest retailers in the world. A remarkable story unfolds.

THE INTERNET

Jelle Pothoven | Live-Action | 07:07

"Het Internet" is a short historical piece of fiction with a twist. The film tells the story of a young lady called Bo in the year 1994. Bo discovers that a private photograph of her has been published on the Internet, and she wants to have it returned to her. She decides there's no other option than to infiltrate the company that is storing her photograph.


HAPPY NEW YEAR

On the last day of the year, a dispirited work-at-home phone interpreter has her moribund life turned upside down when she answers an unexpected emergency call.


THINK OF SOMETHING BLUE

The doors of the only train are open. The platform at the Blankenberge railway station looks desolate. This is where filmmaker Marieke Widlak saw her sister for the last time. Slowly the doors close and the train takes off; we embark on a journey. Now or never again shows the process of personal growth caused by an issue that people rarely give thoughts to. It displays an intimate portrait of a family, in which the openness around mourning is salient.
