The everyday reality of two refugees from Venezuela as they work in the buses of downtown Lima.
José Angel Fuenmayor (21) fled from Venezuela one year ago. He usually plays the violin in the buses of western Lima but sometimes also ventures downtown with the streets as his stage. Although he doesn't think it'll be safe to live in Venezuela for his foreseeable future, he approaches life with an optimistic charm. In his words: be positive and leave your problems behind.
Tirso Sanchez (19) fled with his girlfriend from Venezuela six months ago. When they arrived in Lima, they found out that she's pregnant. He now sells cookies but looks for more stable income so he can keep providing for his mother and brothers when his son is born. Every evening he visits an internet café and tries to reach his mother, who he misses dearly.
